The school is one of 84 elementary schools in the Halifax Regional School Board, and one of 20 that offer Early French Immersion. It has 430 students for the school year 2016-17. It is located in a quiet residential area of Halifax full of tree-lined streets.

The school teaches students from grades primary to 6 in French Immersion and English.  We also have teachers teaching physical education, music, and art as well as a library with a library technician.
